Winnipeg Assembly of Yahweh
The Winnipeg Assembly of Yahweh (Winnipeg Church of God) is a small outreach ministry with a BIG MESSAGE, dedicated to preaching and teaching the uncompromised Word of the Eternal  to ALL peoples, EVERYWHERE!

In these closing days of man's government upon the earth, we are endeavoring to proclaim the true gospel message as commanded by our Master and Saviour, Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ), (Mark 16:15), which includes the message of the coming Kingdom of Yahweh to planet Earth. Messiah will rule and reign for a thousand years with His Bride, the church (ecclesia - called out ones) who will rule and reign with Him on the earth. (Rev.5:10)

We are an independent Sabbath-observing group established in 1992 as a non-profit religious organization in the province of Manitoba. Yahweh has indeed blessed us with much understanding and truth concerning basic Bible doctrines and other truths which have been hidden by the whore of Babylon and her confused harlot daughters and we desire to share these truths with whoever has an ear to hear and is willing to PROVE ALL THINGS! We are Messianic. What's the difference between Messianics and Christians?  The truth may surprise you!

We are dedicated to feeding the flock so that they may grow in the grace and knowledge of Yeshua Messiah unto a complete (spiritually mature) follower of Messiah. We are servants and lovers of the true Elohim and his children.
I was converted at the age of 19 and spent 11 years in what I believe, for the most part, was religious confusion.  I had to un-learn, re-learn and learn many things for the first time, when Yahweh called me out of Babylon (religious confusion) and I continue to study and prove all things to this day. Like so many others, I was born and raised in a Roman Catholic family, and upon my conversion, I attended a Pentecostal church for about 10 - 11 years, and after that sojourn, I spent four years in the the Church of God 7th Day. I soon discovered that Christ taught that the "church" wasn't a building, but a calling.

I used to be an arrogant Protestant, who thought that I had it all together. I believed that what I was taught in church was correct, and that all of my doctrines were based on the Scriptures. It's a very humbling experience to confess error and admit that I believed many a lie. As a hungry student of the Scriptures, I wanted to accept what the Bible plainly taught, even if it went against the grain of so-called ecclesiastical authority, even if I would be rejected by my friends and peers, even if it was contrary to what the vast majority of professing Christians blindly accepted and believed.  I had a desire to get back to the faith that was once delivered to the saints (Jude 3).  Have you ever come to that place? Yes, I have changed my beliefs, when I proved myself wrong from the Word of the Eternal. Yes, I have made changes because I was willing to admit that I was taught error! I was willing to come out of religious Babylon and take a stand for TRUTH! Even if I had to stand alone! Are you willing? As the Apostle Paul Admonished all true believers, I continue to PROVE ALL THINGS, and hold fast (or keep) that which is good...(that which aligns with Scripture...rejecting those teachings which do not).
In order to advance in truth, it is so important that we possess a teachable spirit (a simple, open mind) and be willing to spend time studying the Word, comparing Scripture with Scripture. Some people are afraid to look because they are afraid of what they might see! YHWH does not want His church to stumble around in darkness. Ask yourself, if YOU are prepared to reject your beliefs, if you discover, through much soul-searching (being honest with yourself) and intense personal Bible study and prayer, that what you believe may not measure up to the inspired Word of Yahweh? Then what?  If we are honest truth-seekers, then we must be willing to compare Scripture with Scripture and as the Prophet Isaiah says, "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little" (Isa. 28:10) This requires one to 'roll up of the sleeves and dig in! It requires some hard work, but the rewards are ETERNAL!

When it comes to studying the Bible, many Christians have the "cart before the horse." They study the New Testament, the writings of the New Covenant, with little or no knowledge of the foundation -- the HEBREW ROOTS of the Covenant Writings...BOTH COVENANTS, (or Testaments), are built upon the one and only sure foundation, the Living TORAH, who is the LOGOS, Yeshua our Messiah (Jesus the Christ).

"Old" (Testament, the TANAKH), does not mean obsolete.  The Bible -- both testaments -- are in complete harmony, they complement each other, they do not contradict each other. Many Christians ignore or belittle the Torah, and the Old Testament, which is a great hindrance to their spiritual growth and understanding.

Many Christians do not realize that EVERY major doctrine that the original Jewish Apostles and early church believed and taught, is contained in that body of Holy Writ, the TANAKH - The Torah, the Prophets and the Writings - which many now call the "Old Testament."  The word Tanakh is an acronym made from the first letters of the three main divisions of the Hebrew Bible: Torah (the LAW or Pentateuch), Nevi'im (Prophets) and K'tuvim (Writings). This is the ONLY Scripture that the first century 'called out ones' had, since the New Covenant writings were not compiled and canonized in a book until the third and fourth century A.D. It's very important that we understand this because it is the Old Testament Scriptures that the apostle Paul has in mind when he writes to Timothy and says, "And that from a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Messiah Yeshua." And also, "All scripture is given by inspiration of Yahweh, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."  2Timothy 3:16

May Yahweh bless you as you seek to know Him and His Truth, and may He grant you the wisdom and courage to walk in His truth, to follow in the footsteps of His Son, Yeshua, in these final days of man's government and rule in the Kingdom of MEN. His Kingdom, shall be EVERLASTING... Yah is not willing that any should perish, but that ALL peoples, everywhere, should come to repentance.

To know Him, is to Love Him and to Love Him is to obey Him. "If you love me keep my commandments." John 15:14

"Your Laws are a wonderous mystery; therefore, my heart and mind observe and obey them. The entrance, opening and unfolding of Your Word, enlightens and instructs the open-minded, it gives understanding to the simple."  Psalm 119:129, 130
